What To See In Theaters

It’s not always easy to find out which movies are hitting theaters each week, especially as the Hollywood strikes led to many release date changes. With the WGA strike resolved and awards season heating up, there are more dramas and prestige productions in theaters for the next few months. October’s scary releases are well under way, while November and December should see family-friendly films and crowdpleasers for the holidays.

Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” premieres this week. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone, the crime thriller spans three and a half hours. Also catch limited releases of Bill Burr’s “Old Dads,” the Emily Blunt-led “Pain Hustlers” and “Nyad,” starring Annette Bening, ahead of their Netflix premieres. Apple TV+’s David Cornwell documentary “The Pigeon Tunnel” will have a limited release as well before it debuts on streaming.

Check back each week to find the latest releases in theaters, from big-budget wide releases to niche independent titles.
