Samsung Vertical TV Products
Samsung has officially introduced three of their TV products that were inspired by the characteristic, life style, and taste of the millennial. The three of their products are being name as The Sero, The Serif, and The Frame.
Taken from Samsung’s official page, they have observed the millennial on how they operate with their smartphones for quite long to look for a new innovation that’s fitting to the target. And so The Sero was born, a millennial kind of TV with a vertical screen instead of horizontal. The reason why Samsung choose this concept is because of many contents come in the shape of smartphone screen display.

Samsung Vertical TV: The Sero
The Sero will possibly synchronizing the display according to the phone’s vertical screen with just launching a simple mirroring functional based on NFC (a short range wireless communication), games, videos, and others. The vertical screen is for the smartphone user to be able to see the content in full screen, fitting vertically without turning the phone horizontally. It’s also to see how the sound works on vertical mode, the TV is equipped with 4,1-channel and a high end 60 watts speaker.
The specification of The Sero can be used for many types of streaming music player service like Samsung Music and other music files that has been saved on the user’s phone. When The Sero isn’t being used, it can also work as a digital photo frame and visuallator of the music. Samsung is also planning to add a voice assistant like Google Assistant, namely Bixby Samsung. The Sero will start being market near the end of May in Korea with the price of 16.000 USD (estimatedly around 228 thousands of rupiah).
