Huawei for 5G Automotive?
Huawei Technologies will introduce the first 5G communicating hardware for automotive industry. The birth of this device would likely be a sign of Huawei’s ambition to be the main supplier on self-driving sector in automotive industry.
Quoted from Reuters, Huawei stated that the MH5000 module is based on the Balong 5000 5G chip and has been launched on January.
“Based on this chip, Huawei has already developed the first 5G mobile module in the world with the high speed and quality,” they said.

Huawei stresses the importance of 5G in automotive industry.
They launched it officially on Shanghai Autoshow, started from last week and last until this Thursday.
“As an important communication product for the smart car in the near future, this 5G mobile module will also promote the automotive industry to step up and reach the era of 5G,” they stated.
It has been said that the module will help their plan to start the commercials of 5G network technology in automotive sector on this second half year.
Huawei has been testing several technologies for cars which connected smartly in several towns in China for the recent past years. The selected towns are Shanghai, Shenzen, and Wuxi. It also signed contracts with several car manufacturer including FAW, Dongfeng, and Changhan.
