Update on Galaxy S10

Update on Galaxy S10 Line

Last week, Samsung rolled out a software patch for the Galaxy S10 line, aimed at presenting improved camera performance. At the same time, they also released the May issue security patch.

After rolling out, a number of cellphones found bugs in third-party applications such as Twitter. This bug caused the application to not function as it should and the mobile screen became unresponsive, as reported by GSM Arena.

In Twitter application, a number of users mentioned the problem causing them to have to restart the cellphone to function again. Not only social media applications, but similar problems are also complained by users on WhatsApp and Nova Launcher.

In addition to third-party applications, a number of users find the same problems that also affect Samsung’s browser and Gallery. While a small number of users complained about increased battery power consumption and random system termination.

Update on Fingerprint Sensors

Other Galaxy S10 owners report fingerprint sensors that become slower and unresponsive. After this negative feedback, Samsung decided to retract the update that they released and rolled it out when they succeeded in fixing the problem.

This update with the XXU1ASE5 version brings improvements to the Night mode with support for noise reduction, longer shutter speeds, and the option to use wide-angle viewing sensors.

Other additions to this Samsung update include the ability to take pictures with a telephoto lens in Live Focus mode. Unfortunately, users of the Galaxy S10 series who haven’t enjoyed this update still have to be patient.

Previously, Samsung announced a special wallpaper themed Disney and Pixar characters from Incredibles, Frozen and Zootopia. This wallpaper is made for the Infinity-O screen on the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10e. You can download it for free.

Other wallpapers offered by Samsung also utilise smart designs to hide holes found on the Galaxy S10 line of devices, which use the Infinity-O screen and can be purchased through the Galaxy Store.
