Oppo is known to have a smartphone sub-brand called Realme which is now starting to gain great reputation. After Realme, Oppo launched another cellphone brand nicknamed Reno.
This sub-brand was announced by Oppo Vice President Shen Yiren on Weibo, complete with the logo. From the colorful logo, it seems that Reno will target millennials for its main demography. The same logo has also been uploaded to Oppo’s Official Twitter account recently.
Not only the logo, the first smartphone under the Reno brand will also be announced on April 10 in China. Unfortunately, there is no detailed information about the enigmatic cellphone yet.
Some time ago, Yiren stated that the newest mobile will be different than the previous Oppo line, while keeping the difference under-wraps for now.
However, there are rumors that point the mysterious Reno phone to the successor of the flagship cellphone, Oppo Find X.
The cellphone carries several top-notch specifications including a lossless 10x magnification technology which was just introduced last late February.
The main processor used will probably the Snapdragon 855 armed with a 4,065 mAh battery. Oppo will not be giving up on the 3.5 mm audio jack just yet. It’s also equipped with three lenses for the main cameras, one of which has a 48 megapixel resolution sensor.
Will Oppo Reno be launched along with the rumored flagship phone or will the mysterious flagship cellphone be released under the Reno brand?
Find out soon next month.
