HUAWEI Mate X managed to get the first 5G CE Certificate in the world from TÜV Rheinland. This also indicates that the fastest 5G foldable phone in the world has already passed the strictest test and become the first 5G smartphone in the world which already have the approval from European Union Legislative Procedure.
“Compared to the technology and communication device produced before, the technology used and the shape applied in 5G products is way more complex,” said Bruce Lee, the Vice President of Handset Business of Huawei Consumer Business Group on the handing-certificate process.
Moreover, Bruce Lee stated that the standards and the testing device used for 5G certification are still on improvement and become quite a challenge itself to evaluate the decency of 5G smartphones. Through the collaboration between Huawei and TÜV Rheinland, both of these companies have already made a significant invention in technology.
Stefan Kischka, the President of Wireless/Internet of Things, TÜV Rheinland, send Huawei a felicitation, “I am very proud that TÜV Rheinland could see how 5G global technology used by Huawei, and this is an interesting news for industries and consumers.”
As the first 5G smartphone from Huawei Mate X has already completed by the latest and sophisticated features. Mate X also operated with Balong 5000 chipset, the first multi-mode SoC 5G in the world which produced by the 7nm processing technology.
Balong 5000 is the first chipset which could offer 4.6 gbps download speed in Sub-6GHz frequency band (low frequency band, main 5G frequency band).
This chipset modem also being the first in the world that support SA and NSA at the same time. Huawei also armed this smartphone with the ability to adapt according to the users’ need and a different hardware format for the users and telecommunication operators.
Besides, Huawei also integrating four 5G antenna sets and so many sophisticated technologies on the foldable thin body of HUAWEI Mate X. The 5G transmission signal is strong stable, and fully ready to take up to the big data transmission challenge in 5G era.
TÜV Rheinland has their full responsible of the entire CE certification process for Huawei 5G smartphone. CE Certification is the quality certification needed by European Union to got the import and selling permission.
This also become the mandatory identification to release and sell devices to the Europe Market. Commodities which have the CE Certification show that those products have completed several guidelines such as wireless, safety, electromagnetic compatibility, health, eco-friendliness, and consumer protection.
HUAWEI Mate X passing the CE Certification Test means that this smartphone is already tested and applied every guidelines into their product, be it the process of developing the smartphone, device selections, or the designing process.
The smartphones’ specifications stated that the radio frequency (RF), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), safety, and other aspects are guaranteed to be safe according to CE Certification standards.
