With CDPR track records that are still up to date, it is only natural that many will be looking forward to the presence of their latest game – Cyberpunk 2077. With the development process getting increasingly intense, more developers are involved in the RPG project.
Reporting from PC Gamer, Cyberpunk 2077 involves more than 400 people in its production. This is an increase in numbers that rose dramatically compared to The Witcher 3 which previously involved 200 developers.
CDPR said that the majority of developers who worked on The Witcher 3 had been transferred at the end of 2015 yesterday, as these teams continued to grow and increase again to the current position.
The good side of the increasing number of employees involved is that CDPR can avoid excessive overtime which in recent years has become a controversy in the gaming industry, especially when inhuman work time issues occurred at Rockstar in the making of Red Dead Redemption 2 years ago.
Cyberpunk 2077 is the most important CDPR game now. They cannot continue to rely on the sale of The Witcher 3 to build their studio, so the end result of this game will revive this Polish studio.
